Fabricated lies filled in history,
All geared towards downgrading the black man's glory,
An ocean of myths in his story,
Just to kill his spirit for excellence.
From slavery to colonialism,
Characterised by greed in high level barbarism,
The Black man has subjected to racism,
Whose remains exist to date.
The black man's glory,
Although twisted as unsatisfactory,
Today -- it remains indisputable,
That civilization started in his territory,
For Egypt is the cradle of human civilization.
Ancient Egypt was all black,
As narrated by Cheikh Anta Diop,
An unparalleled historian and anthropologist,
Who's vindicated by the present day advancement in science.
The first architects and engineers were black,
Proof: the great pyramids of Egypt,
Which still remain a mystery,
To mankind in general,
For its equivalent is not seen in the world,
That claimed to bring civilization,
To the black man's land.
Medicine, writing and mathematics,
All were well established in Ancient Egypt,
Before the arrival of the alliens.
It's sad that this is yet unknown to many black people,
For these facts have been hidden
By colonial anthropologists whose work
Was to show the Africans' backwardness,
And anything of value from Africa,
Was associated by them to some foreign interventions,
Hiding the black man's excellence and greatness,
Linking blackness to inferiority,
And filling his books with how they'd treated him.
The truth unfolds no matter how it's hidden.
Africans have penned their own history,
And it must be highly spread and read.
Our achievements must be spoken with pride,
To instill a sense of self-love, self-esteem and self-respect in us;
To give the younger generation a sense of self-belief.
The young black child doesn't lack reference.
The richest man in history, Mansa Musa, was black,
Likewise the GOAT of public speaking, Martin Luther king Jr.
Great leaders like Nelson Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah and their contemporaries.
Great althletes like Usain Bolt.
The list goes on and on: inexhaustible.
In the black man's land,
Is buried the most precious minerals.
Beautiful oceans and waterfalls in his environment,
With an admirable wildlife and tick forests.
His home, a diversity of peoples.
Enjoying the difference in cultures,
And supporting one another during adversity.
Being black is power.
Being black is strength.
Being back is beauty.
So love yourself;
Your skin colour, your hair, your everything.
Beauty itself is in black,
For humanity started in blackness.
