This afternoon, the executive met with Dr. Mouna Sadli (Business School dean), Prof. Anubha Kalra (the director of international programs) and Dr. Safwan benjelloun (Provost of the International Institute of Higher Education in Morocco (IIHEM)). The IIHEM is a leading institute of Higher Education and the first English Business Institute in Morocco that delivers management sciences academic programs(Bachelor’s and Master’s program).
The aim of the visit was to a create partnership with IIHEM.
We were nicely welcomed. “Thank you for coming" said Dr. Benjelloun. After introducing ourselves, Mr. Jagne briefed them about GASAM and our activities. We went on to explain some of the things GASAM can do for them if we forge a partnership.
Dr. Benjelloun also told us more about the school, the requirements, their exchange programs and some of their partnering countries like South Korea, Tunisia, Europe,USA etc.
We had a long but fruitful conversation. Questions were being asked, questions regarding our schooling, AMCI, the French language, our stipend, high school degree, why Morocco etc
“We have been thinking of this for years, having relationship with other African countries especially those in the west”, said Dr. Benjelloun. That most of their students are from the North and South Africa.
In conclusion, he thanked the executive for coming. He said their doors are open, we can contact Madam Anubis Kalra if we have any suggestions or assistances.
