INJUSTICE TO THE POOR

It's disheartening that we are leaving in a society where the less fortunate ones barely gain justice even if they deserve it. Unfortunately, the justice system fails to protect the poor. This injustice is perpetuated by a society that values wealth and status over fairness and equality, In today's world, poor people rarely win a case against rich people just because they can not afford good and competent lawyers to defend them, survey the prisons around, many of the prisoners there are most likely from a poor background. whose the laws have been in their favour but justice wasn't.there is this saying in the law which enunciates; sometimes the law might be in your favour and justice will not, this is what applies to most of the poor people in our society. The fact that the law is omnipresent and as pointed out no one is above it this injustice happening to the poor should be quelled. Everyone should have the right to leave with absolute liberty and justice regardless of their quality or status. The law is not advice, neither explanation nor recommendation is an obligation that should be imposed or applied to all individuals who act contrary to it. Is sad only the poor are the ones acting contrary to it, from what society has shown us.

But hey what baffles my mind is the fact that all these entrustities happening to the poor commence from the household to the community, and then to the states as a whole. talking of the household the poorest individuals in the compound are always the black sheep of the house they are never respected or given a lending ear even if they are the oldest in the family, they have less value when it comes to family affairs, they are not taken seriously nor considered when it comes to serious decision makings, and are always the victim when soever things go wrong. The opposite of all these entrsutities is given to the wealthiest man in the house even if he/she is the youngest in the family, the individuals are given so much privilege to decide or say what so ever they feel like saying or doing even if is a scrap. I called it Survival of the Wealthiest, Or money over humanity. You are free to give it a name!! this is why there are many rich compounds out there and yet can't withhold peace or joy. where is justice?

Let me steer your minds to the community furthermore, Is pathetic how the less fortunate ones are being treated in our various communities, here it goes, the indigent old man or woman in our today's society is always the evil of the clan, the individuals will be labeled with all kinds of ominous names like; the witch, the sorcerer, the snitch, the backbiter and so on, the list is long. Never will you hear these kinds of names attached to the rich people in our communities why? What we don't get is that being evil or good is no were close to being related to wealth or poor everybody can be evil regardless of wealth, status, or quality. Think about it, isn’t it easier to do evil when you are rich than poor as the saying goes money is the root of all evil, but we still think that poor individuals in our societies are the masterminds of all the evil happening our communities when most of the time all they do is to even think of what to eat. now! this is grievous. These individuals' fundamental human rights are been Tempered drastically, and no human deserves this mind torturing treatment from their fellow humans.

Okay now let's look up to the states, Some well-developed countries treat low-income countries unfairly by exploiting their resources and labor while giving them little in return. This exploitation can take many forms, such as paying low wages, imposing unfair trade agreements, or taking advantage of political instability. These actions can perpetuate poverty and make it difficult for low-income countries to develop and thrive. most of these poor countries hardly get access to loans from the world bank,International monetary fund or other rich countries, and somehow the poor countries that get access to loans from these so-called rich countries are imposed with unhealthy policies and conditions, which they sadly have to accept in one way or another mulling over the fact they need the money so they have to bear the expense, This is blackmailing you might like to call it. Sadly this is ensuing to only the impoverished countries around the world, justice is not being served judging from this perspective.

This is how it all got underway, from the households to the communities to the states and then to the law up there. But hey! Are we going to seat and fold our hands and do nothing about it even if we can or at least if not stop it but reduce it? We need to work towards a society that values everyone equally and provides justice for all. starting it in our various houses, let you, I and everybody start respecting and giving a listening ear to the person with less remuneration within us and not the exact opposite, plop the mindset that only the poor people in our neighborhoods are the ones capable of doing evil and not the other way around, I want to believe we can help in developing our various countries in one way or the other as much as possible, so let's please do it and circumvent being blackmailed by the so-called rich countries. Moreover, let’s not be consequentialist moral reasoners and be categorical moral reasoners, everybody should be counted as equal regardless of their status, and the poor should also taste the fruit of justice. Remember it all starts from within.
